Born in 1950, Peter has a background of self-taught artistic achievement. Cyril David, Peter's father, was a professional artist who encouraged his creative endeavors. Thus began a family tradition in the arts.
Peter's early years of exploration in both art and science led him to sculpture, drawing, and science fair awards. His adult years have brought explorations in geology, astronomy, electricity, and physics as well as continual expressions in many artistic media.

Looking closer, he noticed the beauty of colors in the glass that replicated some of the subtlety of the colors in nature.
