Jim Olsen, the designing architect on this project, came to us with his vision of a three dimensional glass wall that would be sculptural in nature . It would sweep around the room, enclosing the fireplace and continuing on to frame the 4th floor water view in this unique bayside condominium. We made a series of samples and then a sectional mockup to explore the final articulation of the design details. We then constructed a set of specialty fusing and bending kilns to custom form the glass into the gracefully elegant final wall panels. The glass is supported on a bronze inner structure. Careful planning and meticulous installation by our team of specialty installers came in on time and within the projected budget .
